Asus P565 touchscreen mobile launched in India

ASUS has launched its ASUS P565 touchscreen mobile in India, which it claims is the fastest PDA in the world. (Click to enlarge images)



Asus P565 runs has an 800 MHz processor with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS, a 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen with 480x640 resolution, 128MB DDR SDRAM and 256MB Flash memory. It has tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE network support, UMTS, 3.6Mbps HSDPA, a 3 megapixel camera, MicroSD with SDHC support, WiFi and Bluetooth.

It has the ASUS touch-driven user interface – Glide, which is designed for a touch-sensitive response. The handset has a leather-accented design.



Asus P565 comes pre-loaded with business-oriented features such as MS Office Mobile, push email, Anytime Launcher, Multi-Home, business card recognition, PDF viewer, weather reports, online news etc.
