Shah Rukh Khan will be playing the role of the famous Mogambo in Mr India 2 which will be directed by Shekhar Kapur. Mr India 2 is the sequel to Mr India which was a big hit in 1987 with Anil Kapoor and Sridevi in the lead roles. Shekhar Kapoor made the offer to Shah Rukh Khan and he is confident that Shah Rukh Khan will accept it, though SRK has yet to confirm it. Mr India 2 is being produced by Boney Kapoor and Manmohan Shetty.
Also, Sridevi will be making her comeback in this film and will be once again seen with Anil Kapoor. Anil Kapoor and Sridevi will be playing the role of the older couple and there will be another younger couple in the film.
However, Mr India 2 will be more villain centric. So, director Shekhar Kapur selected Shah Rukh Khan for the role since he felt that none of the current villians in Bollywood have the intense personality to portray the role of Mogambo which Amrish Puri had enacted with such maniacal glee in Mr India. Also, Shah Rukh had played the role of the villian in Baazigar and Darr in the initial stages of his acting career which had been highly appreciated by the audiences.
Audiences would surely love to see how Shah Rukh Khan portrays the role of Mogambo in Mr India 2.
