The marriage happened before the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire' became a huge worldwide hit. After the unprecedented success of the film, Freida decided to dump her husband Rohan, since she now sees a bright future for herself in Hollywood and Bollywood movies.
The source revealed that a hotel had been booked for their wedding ceremony in Goa, which is Rohan Antao's hometown. Freida had got her wedding dress made from a Mumbai based designer at short notice. Freida also had a trial done for her wedding gown and Rohan was present with her. Freida wanted the marriage to be kept a secret probably because she felt it may harm her chances of making it big in films.
But it is not clear if they are now legally divorced. Rohan's Facebook status now shows him as 'single' while earlier he had written 'committed'. Rohan had fully supported Freida during the making of 'Slumdog Millionaire' and is now shocked that Freida has dumped him, when she has become a big star.
