Samsung India has launched its Ultra Touch S8300 smart-phone in India. Samsung S8300 Ultra Touch has the world's first AMOLED touch-screen and is a slider smart-phone with a 8 megapixel camera, dual LED flash, 30fps VGA video recording and HSDPA 7.2 Mbps.
Samsung S8300 Ultra Touch also has features such as GPS navigation, geo-tagging via the GPS chip which allows the user to tag photos with geographic information, 80 MB of internal memory with support for MicroSD cards up to 16GB.
Samsung S8300 Ultra Touch is loaded with its Touch Wiz interface and has support for Mobile widgets.
Samsung has also tied up with BSNL and MTNL to offer its handsets with their recently launched 3G services.
Samsung S8300 UltraTouch is available at a price of Rs. 27,500.
Samsung now has four touch-screen phones in India, i.e. the i900 Omnia, F480, the Pixon, and the Samsung S8300 UltraTouch. All these Samsung touch-screen phones are 3G enabled and are available in the price band of Rs. 17,790 and Rs. 32,200.
